VISION

It is the vision of the Monona Grove Football program to graduate all student-athletes with achievement of excellence in the areas of education, personal growth, and athletic performance through dedication and commitment to complete the mission of the Monona Grove Football program.

 

MISSION

The mission of the Monona Grove Football program is to consistently compete at the highest levels and to be respected as a state’s elite program while creating a culture of pride, excitement, and excellence within the program, and throughout the community.  Excellence within the Monona Grove Football program will be achieved through the creation of a fun atmosphere that promotes team and individual development through strong work habits, leadership, skill development, attitude, moral ethics, knowledge, preparation, accountability, enthusiasm, and tradition.  Lastly, all members of the Monona Grove Football program will display a champion mentality and will constantly compete to “Win the Day.”

 

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is that all members of the Monona Grove Football program believe in and consistently work to achieve the mission of the Monona Grove Football program without jeopardizing the integrity of the program and/or our own personal character.  Anyone involved within the program will be motivated and expected to perform intellectually, ethically, and physically, as the focus will be on “being the best we can be.” Though expectations will be high and adverse situations will arise, coaches and teammates will actively provide positive support in the development of personal values through modeling, serving, and caring for one another.  When we, as coaches and teammates, set a positive example and teach those around us how to strive for greatness, we inspire those around us to emulate those efforts, overcome adversity, and positively impact others.
